🌟 INTRODUCTION

Born and raised in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia, Tulga (Battulga Battogtokh) grew up immersed in the traditions of wrestling, acrobatics, and circus arts. After earning his bachelor’s degree in History, he decided to follow his passion and join the circus — a path that would take him across the globe.

His international debut came with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in America, where he performed ballet acrobatics, aerial straps, and his now-famous Mongolian Strongman act while traveling the country aboard the historic one-mile-long Ringling circus train.

Today, Tulga is celebrated worldwide for his unbelievable feats of strength and dexterity — juggling bowling balls, lifting massive telephone poles, and performing daring strongman acts that leave audiences in awe.

His unique artistry has earned him recognition at the Golden Elephant International Circus Festival in Spain (2018) and the 47th Monte Carlo International Circus Festival (2025).

Alongside his live performances, Tulga has been featured on 19 television shows around the world, including America’s Got Talent (2018), Das Supertalent in Germany (2019), La France a un Incroyable Talent (2019), Britain’s Got Talent (2021), and most recently Canada’s Got Talent (2025). He is also a proud holder of two Guinness World Records for his extraordinary fire-spinning wood act.

🔥 THE PASSION

For Tulga, the spark of inspiration came early. While training as a gymnast, he discovered circus art through Cirque du Soleil videos on tape — and instantly fell in love. That fascination became a lifelong drive to create, perform, and build his own acts that blend artistry with raw strength.

When challenges arise, Tulga stays grounded by looking to his roots. With deep pride in his Mongolian history, he carries the mindset of a warrior — drawing strength from the legacy of Chinggis Khan and reminding himself of the resilience and power that flows through his culture.

🇨🇦 COMMUNITY & CANADIAN PRIDE

For Tulga, Canada holds a special place in his heart. His journey has taken him across the world, but the chance to perform here has left a lasting impact. In his own words:

“I love Canada.”

Simple, yet powerful — a reminder that the circus arts transcend borders, and that strength, creativity, and performance can bring people together no matter where they come from.

🤝 NETWORKING SPOT

When it comes to dream collaborations, Tulga’s vision is clear: performing with Cirque du Soleil in Canada.

Watching Cirque du Soleil videos as a young gymnast first ignited his love for circus arts, and the chance to one day take the stage with the iconic Canadian troupe is both his dream and the driving reason he became a circus performer. For Tulga, it would be the ultimate full-circle moment — from discovering circus on screen to creating unforgettable magic under the Cirque spotlight.

performing at the 2028 Olympic Opening Ceremony in Los Angeles. As a child, he once dreamed of being an Olympic athlete — today, he envisions honoring that dream by stepping onto the Olympic stage as a circus performer, showcasing his strength and art to the world.

In the meantime, fans can catch him live this holiday season at the Weltweihnachts Circus Stuttgart in Germany. Running through Christmas, the show promises magic, wonder, and world-class talent. If you’re traveling to Europe during the holidays, don’t miss the chance to see Tulga in action.
