Healthy Aligned Living: Bringing Edmonton Together Through Community, Connection, and Purpose



Comets Crew had the opportunity to attend and cover Springs Into Spring, a community fundraiser and awareness event hosted by Healthy Aligned Living in Edmonton.


Designed to bring youth and seniors together, the event created a space rooted in authentic connection, shared experiences, and meaningful conversation — bridging generational gaps through laughter, storytelling, and community engagement.



🎤 THE EXPERIENCE


From the moment the event began, the room carried a welcoming and inclusive energy. Attendees of all ages gathered not just to watch, but to participate — creating an environment where connection felt natural and intentional.


Throughout the afternoon, moments of laughter, reflection, and conversation unfolded organically, highlighting the importance of events like this within the community.



🎙 SPEAKERS & ENTERTAINMENT


The event featured a variety of speakers and performers who helped shape the tone of the afternoon.



Stand-up comedy from Jen Sakato, Ryan Short, and Erin MK Mill brought energy and laughter into the space, while guest speakers including:

shared powerful messages centered around growth, healing, and community support.


Each voice offered a unique perspective, reinforcing the importance of creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.



🤝 COMMUNITY IN ACTION


Beyond the stage, “Springs Into Spring” came to life through its community-driven elements.


Guests participated in games, explored the silent auction, connected with one another, and shared moments that reflected the heart of the event.


From candid interactions to meaningful conversations, the experience extended far beyond the stage.



🌱 THE PURPOSE


At its core, “Springs Into Spring” highlights the work of Healthy Aligned Living, a non-profit founded by Dre, dedicated to supporting youth aged 14 to 29 who are navigating addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges.


Through mentorship, accountability, and community-based programming, the organization focuses on helping young people build the skills, structure, and support systems they need to move forward and thrive.
